Why Concordia

Built around the family, not the process

We keep things human and unhurried, because that is how families actually make good decisions together.

Everyone is heard equally

Our facilitation approach gives each person the same space to speak, without interruption or hierarchy.

Fully private and voluntary

Participation is always a choice. Sessions are held in a private setting and what is shared stays within the room.

Plain language throughout

No jargon, no intimidating forms. Our materials and summaries are written to be read by anyone at the table.

Work at your own pace

Sessions are scheduled around the family's availability. There is no pressure to reach an outcome faster than feels comfortable.

Clear written records

Where families want it, we produce a tidy written summary of what was agreed — useful to refer back to over time.

Thai and international families welcome

Based in Khon Kaen, we work with both Thai families and international households resident in the region.

Is your family ready to talk?

Common Questions

What families usually ask us

What exactly does a facilitation session involve?
A facilitation session is a structured two-hour conversation guided by a neutral person. Before the session we have a brief call with each participant separately to understand the context. During the session, the facilitator keeps the discussion organised and balanced — but does not tell you what to decide. You leave with a clear sense of where each person stands.
Do all family members have to participate?
Participation is always voluntary. Sessions work best when the people who need to be part of a decision all choose to join, but we cannot — and would not — require anyone to attend. We can help you think through how to approach an invitation conversation if that would help.
Is the Written Agreement Support a legal document?
No. Our written summaries are plain-language records of what the family agreed, produced to help everyone remember and refer back to the discussion. They are not legal instruments and we do not provide legal advice. Families who need a formal legal document should consult an independent professional for that step.
How long does the process usually take?
A single workshop runs for half a day. A facilitation meeting is two hours plus a short pre-session call. Written agreement support, including a revision round, is typically complete within five to seven working days of the facilitation session. All timelines can flex around your family's schedule.
Who pays for the sessions?
That is entirely up to the family. Some families split the cost, others have one party cover it. We issue a single invoice and leave the internal arrangement to you. Payment is settled before the session begins.
Are the workshops available in Thai?
Workshop handout materials are provided in both Thai and English. Facilitation sessions can be conducted in English or Thai depending on participants' preference, or with bilingual support arranged in advance.
